I believe in long weekends (april 5 to july 2). I have finished the Pallet forks, and the Quick spade, and the interchangable mounting bracket as well as a Ripper, Power boxrake, and Quick hitch i have pictures of everything and i dread the wait time to upload them but alas here they are starting with the quick spade.
now while i wait i would like to say that i have copied and thrown my own twist on my fellow tractor by net compatriotes own attachments and i could not have done it without you. the rest of the pictures will be uploaded tomorrow

Very nice builds! What type of downforce do you get with your tree spade? Seems like your ride is a little light to get a good scoop. Once again nice builds.

Nice work! I would have loved to have had that quick spade last year when I dug 20' trench by hand (my neighbor with the BH was too busy for too long, and I had to git 'er done).

Hi,

Nice (and obviously lotsa) work and very sharp pics!

As a newbie here, I hope I don't wear out my welcome, but I have a suggestion... Judging by your remark about uploads, may I say that if you resize and (maybe) resample your pics and then "Save As", you will be a lot happier with uploads. I checked one of your pics (the excellent spade forks) and the size was over one megabyte!! That's 20 x 30 inches at 72 dots per inch (2800 x 2100 pixels). I just resized it to 900 x 600 pixels and it came down to just 65 K--a 15 times reduction. Photoshop tells me that the original image would take over 500 seconds to upload (at 56K)--reduced it came to about 10 seconds.

Here's a couple of good links for HowTo and a free graphics editing software. Hopefully, as I said, my nose isn't stuck to far where it shouldn't be. I write this as what may be helpful to you.

How do I reduce the size of photos for online use?

Graphics Software: jpeg images/windows, photo editing programs, images windows

Easy Thumbnails Tutorial - Prepare Photos for the Web

Regards,
Dave

PS - Another free software that's got a very good reputation is Irfanview (this and the one mentioned in the link above are PC not Mac) IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

Excellent work Garnet! I'm looking forward to the rest of your pictures.

As for resizing pictures. I have my camera set to the highest quality possible, which is 2560x1920x72dpi as I recall. I put all these photos into folders marked HighRes. I created a macro for Paint Shop Pro that I re-size copies to 640x480x72dpi that go into MedRes folders. The high resolution photos are usually about 2mb, while the medium resolution ones are less than 100kb.

The photos I post on TBN and in my online photo albums are all medium resolution by my definition.

I thank all of you, the advise was very helpful. And bladerunner (Dave) your resizing idea was very helpful. We were very busy with work putting in very long days so I haven't been able to get online. And it seems uploading pictures is more difficult than my projects. These are of my power rake (box rake). As you may notice from the accumulation of dirt that I've used it extensively and I must say it works very well! Although I do need improvements. Such as some form of a shield or guard to protect the operator from flying debris. I've nearly been hit a few times. I was considering simply slowing down my machine by 1/3 or 1/4. 540 is tooo fast! My bullet holders are only 3/16 and should be heavier in general for whatever you are using it for. They stretch and my bullets fall out. Every time I use it I need to replace a few.

Here are some pics of my quickhitch. This piece of machinery has made my life so much easier these past few months. Note the slot at the top of my quickhitch. it was put in for my power rake, for floatation. The hardest thing about building the quick hitch was finding the springs!
