Default Cutting Torch Tips.

I got a question for all you weldors out there. I just got a good deal on some cutting tips for my Oxy/Propane torches. I got 4 each size 4/0 and 5/0 tips and was wondering what the cutting capicity is for these size tips. I searched quite a bit on the net and couldn't find any info.

Thanks in advance,

It depends on what manufacture made your tips. Check out this SITE . Their catalog list the different manufactures and thickness each tip will cut.

Thanks Ron, I have a Harris torch. They list the 4/0 as 1/4", but not the 5/0. I guess it is just a little thinner capicity.
