Last night at work, while reading in the welding section, I was looking back at some of my previous attachments and posts on this forum, and I realized that I never posted any pictures of the woodhauling trailers that we have built.
Whenever we do a project like this, we like to take pleanty of pictures along the way to illustrate the build. It may help some of you out in the future if you like building things yourself. Feel free to steal any Ideas:thumbsup:
And if you are wondering why They are built the way they are, or are wondering why we didnt use "this instead of that", well, its because both of these were built with scrap steel we already had. I am a hoarder:laughing: I dont throw away ANY usable steel, no matter how small. Except for drill shavings. I havent found a good use for them yet:laughing:
Anyway, on to the pics. There are MANY.
The first pic shows the frame tacked to the axle. The frame rails are 3" x 5" x 3/8" angle. it already had the one cross peice and the flat plate on it. It was a skid that a robot was delivered on where I used to work. We saved it for just this purpose
The last couple are some shots of welds. They are a little blurry (camera phone). 7014 with the AC welder
