I'm ok with the big stuff, its all the little finishing detail that will slow me down. Trying figure out a way to do the front wall in one piece and be able lift the cab straight up and off. The loader controls are in the way and don't really have enough hose length to pivot them out of the way if I unbolt them. The next issue is along the same lines how to seal the area between the cab sides and the fenders? I think I'll either weld on filler metal or bolt on and make it removable and then add car weather stripping.

Was able to get one door welded together today. The original doors use 3/4 by 1 1/2 rectangle tubing everywhere I looked for it told me they don't carry it or they can get it but it will be pricey. I bought 3/4" square tubing to make the rectangle tubing but was able to salvage what I needed for the door from the original waste. All in all a productive weekend for a change.

I'm afraid my welding and fab skills aren't on par with mjncad's but I'm hoping it will stay together.

Thanks for the compliment; but your fab skills are just fine too. In my case, I'm always amazed at how powder coating makes my welding look semi-good.

Every now and then I go and stare at my rig to design a cab in my mind, and I keep coming up with something that looks crappy to me.

I like the loader brace as I have making one of those on my ever growing to-do list and round-to-it collection.

Looking at the picture in your last post of the cab being suspended by your attic hoist reminds me of a Star Trek movie where the Borg queen's head and neck are lowered onto her body.
