Hi Guys,

I was looking at my manual quick attach handles for the skid steer yesterday. I noticed that there is a big gap in oe of the handles. It looks like the pin has loosened somehow but I'm not sure whether this pin in threaded or just an interference fit or something. I am looking to convert the quick hitch to an auto system using an electric actuator but I would like to repair this problem first. The top of the pin looks like it is welded and has no hexagon or socket head on it for tightening with a tool. If anyone knows how these handles are fixed I'd appreciate it. Its a komatsu skid steer.

Ron

Hmm, my Deere 317 has the same issue, both levers are loose. On my Deere they have a roll pin that goes through the pins which can be tapped out with the proper tools. I'm not sure how your Komatsu is set up but I would assume it would be similar.

Yeah, there should be a roll pin or a cotter pin on the back side. It might be sheared off, hammer the pin back in or have a look at the other handle.
