Hey guys,

I've been thinking about taking a tow behind dethatcher and make a mount on the front of my mower to attach it to the front. That way i can pull a sweeper behind and only make one run.

Now i have been having trouble on how to make a mount. I probably need some tires that can turn 360 because i have zero turn mower and dont wanna tear up the grass.

Your input is highly appreciated.

I have one that mounts on the front of my JD 165 it has short arms that mount to the front of the tractor frame, 360 wheels on each corner mounted on arms that extend out about 16 inchs and an arm that hooks to a rod that hooks to the mower lift to raise and lower, simliar to a front snow plow lift. Looks like this one

I made this one for a Honda 4514 Tractor. Actually made a small class 1 hitch design on my tractor to mount the unit to the front. Took a while to complete all the engineering and drawings, but in the end it was well worth it. It was actually a great winter project

Works good too.........
