Kubota B7100 HST
Hi everybody,
I have a Kubota B7100 HST , and inherited a Kubota tiller FL1000 that I thought I'd like to convert into a flail mower. Wonder if there is anybody who knows what are the tillers revs ,and what revs Flail mower works with? Simply is tiller moving fast enough to cut undergrowth successfully. ld be greatfull for the info_Otherwise I will follow two Polish blokes who built their own one . See the films: HOMEMADE FLAIL MOWER first test run - YouTube .......................

my neighbour had one. Tiller has a very slow cutting speed, circumferential speed of about 30kmh. a mower needs a blade tip speed of at least 80kmh. It would be better to start from scratch, also because the Kubota tillers had their gearbox in the center, which means that the flail mower will leave a stripe in the middle.
