Kubota BX1860
I have a Kubota BX11860 and have started planning building a front mounted snow blower. Have ordered the gearbox, 3 point hitch kit and lift cylinder on e-bay. Design is getting close but still some details left. I not in a ruch and is not heading to get it ready to handle this years snow. I enjoy designing and building things my self. Have a small lathe, X3 milling machine and a metal band saw as well as a welder.
Suggestions apprisiated. The front lift is supposed to be bolted to the tractor front frame and have some sort of clamps on the side. The rear PTO will be used and I intend to use a chain drive as shown.

Unless your pto turns reverse or your gear box reverses the direction of rotation your snow blower will run backwards! I had a front mounted blower on a ford 1310 compact several years ago and it ran from the rear pto. It had a set up with a drive sprocket that went on the pto shaft and a # 50 chain that went around 2 idler sprockets and the lower drive shaft that ran to the front and drove the blower.
