Thank you for sending details of your Landplane.
If mine looks likes yours, it is supposed to, the adjustment on the blades certainly makes it work in different conditions.
It rained here last night.

Thanks for the project. Couldn't be better a time. Last month I found 2 (20 footers) buried in the woods. Needed something to use them for. Great project.

Sotted this smudger at a local field day yesterday.

Local firm has been making them for years, in 2 and 3 row models for either 3 pt hitch attachment or just towing.
The ball of the rail trailing behind and above the cutting edge stops the hole thing it digging in to far.

My experience has been that they work best straight after heavy rain in summer or early autumn (fall), before the ground gets too soft.
