I need to use a rock bucket for some of my land I was working on. I had remove 4 tree stumps and a old rock wall and level out the ground. Now I had a big pile of dirt I need to use but it was full of rock.
I tried to rent a skid steer. No one had it. I then went to buy a rock bucket for my 1025R again one had it for small tractor or modified a bucket that cost $2000 or more.
So I decided to make my own. Off to the metal shop I went. 90' of 1/18" round rod, 2x4 3/16" tube, 3x 3/8" flat stock 2x3/8 flat stock.
I think it came out good and look factory. It also work better that I though. Save my back and worth the time spent making it.
Hear some picture of how I made it and the final Rock Bucket on my 1025R.
