Finished building my ballast barrel today. Now to wait on the cement to set up. Built it from the pictures of the one kOua posted of his he built in 2010. Thanks to him for the pictures. 385 lbs. of scrap steel + 600 lbs. of cement mix + water = 1000 lbs +. Should be heavy enought.

Looks good, it will make a huge difference on your tractor. Mine is smaller, smaller tractor, and I love it. Ed

Ha my little MF1010 would just squat and cry if I tried to pick that up. Anything more than a few hundred pounds would be overkill for me.

Should be a good fit. I have a 1000# barrel for mine for tight area work. If out in the open I just leave the bushhog or blade on
