Thanks guys.

The ends are 1/4, the mold board is 3/16. skis are 5/8. Cutting edges are 1x6" rubber, all hardware is 1/2" stainless with nylock nuts.
I have about $900 into it and a total of 22hrs fab time including bending and shearing at my friends shop, and painting it.

Home - Plow Rubber easy enough right? Haha
They are in buffalo only a little over an hour from me. $114 for each cutting edge. Not too bad. I think it was about 275 for the pair shipped.

Very nice build. I added an adjustable blade on top of mine this summer to back drag with also. I have the steel cutting edges but may order the rubber like you did.

Bigrol, I'm sure they will, but that is inherent to the design of most pushers. I can always scrape with the blade or bucket if needed.
George, I'm hoping the rubber will leave more gravel in my driveway and less in the yard. Getting tired of that spring cleanup

I have my pushers cutting edge set up about 3/4" so it rides on the runners and the blade doesn't dig in and grab the gravel.

How well does the tractor do with the snow pusher? I only made my pusher 6'wide to make it easier to push and maneuver between cars etc. I have a decent slope to the driveway so my plan is to do 2 passes down hill and across the street. I have loaded rears and a pair of chains for the front I hope will fit if needed.
Also, how do you attach your photos to the post vs the way I have been doing it?

My pusher is 7'6" wide and is a bear to maintain traction when full of snow. That's why I bought chains and loaded the rear tires. Your 6' may be more manageable. The box works great for straight line plowing like small parking lots. I also have a QA PA plow I converted from a truck plow.
For pics I click go advanced then scroll down to manage attachments, click on that and follow the prompts before submitting a reply. It's the only way I know to post pics, I don't know how you post yours in the post not as an attachment.

Where did you get your rear chains?
That makes me feel better about my decision to go with 6'. I guess I'll find out soon enough. I have a parking area up between the house and shop, and a straight drive down hill so the box should work well. But a PA plow may be next.
