I very much enjoy the cutting of logs a then the planing of the boards. It's like you said---addictive.

Really like watching and smelling the planer shavings.

That's a pretty bold project you have taken on. Way beyond my basic limits! It appeared, that your saw bar may be longer than you actually need. ?? ... of course, it's more teeth.

In our hunting club, pines went down last week, we had very high winds. I finally had a chance to prove my new HF hoist.

Certainly an interesting way to apply a wood roof. I wouldn't use a conifer (looked like pine to me), but if it's what you have, it's what you use.
