Auto reset reactive steel targets

I have made a few similar to this that work better than walking back and forth when it's wet.

This is a video with a camera down range showing them working.

They generally run off of deer feeder batteries but they are in use feeding right now. The Larue style is running slower than normal in the video due to running off of 12v vs 24v.

How about use a pressurized shock that holds up a trunk on a car? Put it on the back and that will allow the targets to tilt back then push them back up.

Pretty cool. That looks like a propane tank on the bottom right. You'd certainly know if you hit one.

Yeah you would, especially if there were a small fire involved.

That is not a propane tank, that is just a steel target in the shape of an IPSC paper target.
