looking to see if anyone has built a pull type windrow compost turner. I am considering the build so I thought I would look here to see if anyone else has made one.
U-tube showed a Cat that had a "conveyor" attached to the front blade type thing... The conveyor rotated around the blade in a continuous loop moving soil that had been removed from a ditch... the pipe laid.... the conveyor covered the pipe and filled in the ditch...
Looked as if it would work very well for a complete turn of the windrow...
Weld angle iron to either type link... add adjusters and rollers.. Basically it's a manure spreader mounted on it's side....
This link about rooibos shows a very brief (2.15 to 2.20mins) shot of a modified rotavator. If you can buy one cheap enough it might save you a lot of time. Everything else I have seen is too complicated and expensive.
