Tractor roof from truck tonneau cover.

So my buddy got me to thinking I need a roof on my tractor. I found a fiberglass tonneau cover off a Chevy Colorado for $75 bucks n CL. The guy either mis read his tape measure or measured something else. He had the length right at 66" but the width he told me was 54" which I figured I could live with. When I got it home and measured it it was closer to 66" wide! Sooooooooo, follow the picture story

Took 16" right out of the center of it

and the mock up

I have a length of 1.5x1.5x14gauge to build the sub frame out of. I am going to have the top 6" above the roll bar (I'm 6-2)

I "re-purposed" the engine cover from an old Cat dozer for my roof but needed to split it and add 30" to the width.

Thank you. I don't really need a roof but figured for not a lot of money I could have one. My buddy could use it more than me, he does some brush hogging. LOL
