I am trying to design how to mount a snowplow that I have from an Oliver tractor to a Massey Ferguson MF35 tractor. The Oliver had a solid frame which mounted under the tractor but which cannot be readily modified for the Massey.
I am planning to make a new frame for the massey. I have seen some which mount to the rear axles under the fenders. I would prefer not to attach at that point because the box blade stabilizers (which I plan to leave mounted) also attach there. What I am considering is adding a mount for the rear pivot point where the clutch inspection plate is located since there are 4 large bolts there. My concern is whether that location is stout enough to be a rear mount for the push tubes of the front plow.
