Yet another set of guage wheels for a boxblade. I raided the scrap pile to put this together. The bolts, chain and other hardware came to about $20. Not as pretty as some of the others I've seen posted here, but it works.

That's a nice set up for box blade gauge wheels. Gives a long wheel base for better levelling.
If you want to see ugly just think of the gauge wheels on my backblade!!

Question, would you all prefer the wheels to be inside the cutting width of the box or outside. It would seem to me that it would be better on the outside so that what you are cutting or spreading would not also effect the wheeel height. For example, if you were using wheels in order to limit your cutting to 1 inch. Wheels inside would then be one inch down after you cut. this would thenhaev the affect of cutting down 1 inch more than one inch more. I am slow, or does what I am saying making any sense.
