Back to my original post: I got tired of all my waffling back and forth over which welder to purchase so this weekend I ordered the HTP 2400 mig. Seems like a lot of welding power for the cost, some nice features, and overall, a well thought out and built machine. I know it's not the "right" color of red, but from what I've read in other forums, most HTP owners really like their machines. Any of you out there have an HTP unit? I'd like to hear about your experiences as well as any tidbits relating to the 2400.

HTP sells decent stuff. Not sure who makes it though. The HTP people post regularly on both the Hobart and Miller discussion forums. You might want to go over there and check out what others have to say about HTP units.
