    Yep.. DGL is correct.. 58-62 was the 01 series.

    I just love it when sellers don't know squat about the tractor they are selling.. Makes me wonder how they maintained the tractor.. since they didn't know what they have...

    In any case.. 4750 aint a deal for a non restored 801 gasser... Closer to 3500 in my area for that unit..

    You mean like Antique Tractors - Yesterday's Tractors : Antique Tractor Headquarters ? "Ford" forum. Also search the free classifieds there for ford and you will find a better cross section of machines priced reasonably.

    If you think "soundguy" has a lot of posts here, he has more there.

    Wow. I just went and had another look at that forum and had never liked it before because of the way the posts were organised without any sort of graphics and how the posts were all on separate pages.

    Then I clicked on 'modern view'

    thats because they have an entirely diffrent link for the modern BB

    Yesterday's Tractors :: View Forum - Ford

    they must use some fancy scripts to keep the "other one" updated

    I wonder why you still get to the old forum when you click on discussions from the YTMAG homepage?
