Has anyone bought the 鼎ompact Tractor Buying & Basics book advertised on TBN? Is it worth the price? Published date is 2001. Has it been updated? I did try to go to the link listed on TBN, but it did not work. I left a message on the website, but never got a response. Is there another reference source anyone would recommend?

I just ordered:
Amazon.com: The Compact Tractor Bible (Country Workshop): Graeme R. Quick: Books Amazon.com: How To Use Implements on Your Small-Scale Farm (Motorbooks Workshop): Rick Kubik: Books Amazon.com: How to Keep Your Tractor Running (Motorbooks Workshop): Rick Kubik: Books But I won't get them until the second week in July. I'll post up then if they're any good. |

Wombat125:
I have both of them. There is some interesting material contained in both books. I really do not use them as reference books, but for a newbee there is some good material. Jay ![]()

I bought it when I first started looking for a tractor. I also bought two the the titles listed in a post above.
All had some good info. None really went into how implements are to be used in any depth. There is a LOT of info on these discussion boards. Warhammer Quote:
