They don't seem to be available for Mahindras.
Mahindra has a cab tractor made by TYM. There is one in the 60 hp range. http://www.mahindrausa.com/pdfs/mahi.../CABseries.pdf

Pictures forthcoming if it ever stops raining! Got to use the tractor once to move a trailer. Now I'm trying to figure out how to deal with dripping anti-freeze from where the dealer installed the block heater . Don't want to haul it over the narrow, hilly, bumpy, 60-mile round trip...

So, it finally stopped raining. Been working dawn to past dusk trying to catch up. Been too tired to even turn on the 'puter. Managed to take a picture of the tractor, but am having trouble uploading it as an attachment (after more than 2 hours of trying to get it to work, I give up) , but it's in the photo gallery: M5040 - TractorByNet.com Photo Gallery

Again, thanks to all for the info and advice.

Nice looking tractor. I like where they placed the exhaust.

Any particular reason for the drip pan under the traction?

It's for catching antifreeze (half an ounce a day maybe) from the leaking block heater (see a couple posts above) that I haven't had time to deal with yet . Love the tractor, dealer not so much .

Something very satisfying about that throaty rumble. I am glad they put the exhaust there and not down below. The manual says if you can't put the tractor under shelter, then you should cover the exhaust to keep water out. I wonder how many people actually do this?

Beautiful tractor Colby, . . I'd be proud of that one!! Regarding the exhaust,.. yes you should try to keep the rain out,..but check to see if it has a drain hole in the bottom or low part of the exhaust to let rain water, condensation etc out.

My JD-3520-Cab, has the verticle exhaust with the top tip curved over like yours and mine has a hole in the bottom at the first curve for drainage.

If mine did not have a drain,...I would have cut the top curve off the pipe with a hack-saw, then purchased and installed a "rain-cap", (sold for the purpose).

Some folk will simply tell you to hang an old coffee can or similar type can on top of the pipe to keep rain, snow etc out. However, they can become a niusance as when you forget to take it off and it blows sky high when you fire it up,..... and then it comes down and bounces off your nice shiny hood, . . Oh, Ouch!!

Nice machine,...Congratulations and best of luck with it, . . ENJOY!!
. . tug

PS: your dealer made a nice "profit" on this deal,...the least he can do is come out, (or send a mechanic) to come fix that leak!!! It may be minor at the moment but it is going to become a royal pain before long. HE OWES YOU THIS!!! His good, friendly service NOW, in appreciation of the business,..could encourage (OR NOT) you purchasing other implements in future. (Remind him of that.) IMPORTANT: Report the leak as faulty workmanship!! Be certain he records in your file,.. that it "was" reported. IF its not properly installed, it could fall out when you are working and don't notice. You could lose all coolant and overheat,.... NOT good! (Its brand NEW and should be fixed NOW,..and it should NOT be your responsibility, ...(other than pushing for the fix!!!) Good Luck!!

bpsooner: How long have you had yours? Any issues I should look out for (aside from the one I currently have )? The tractor itself is great.

Been busy getting tractor dirty and scraping the paint off the bucket
Will check for that drain hole. Dealer knows about leak, showed him pics, he said OK to try to tighten it. (It's a pain in the --- to bring the orange beast 30 miles one way over a road under construction with a 10-year old pick-up.)

As I have posted pics and details of leak in another thread please go to Leak through freeze plug block heater

Thanks to all.
