Hey, at least it started with M and sounded similar! I get real happy when I can remember what I had for breakfast by lunch time, let alone the name of something I bought 25 years ago.

I have most of the toys the others have and all these ideas work well, it all depends on you. What you can do, what you can afford,how you want to work it. That being said, here's what I have done and/ or am using.
1.loader and 7' rear blade, good in light stuff, wet stuff too heavy for my CK20HST,will push it sideways but fast for big areas.
2. loader and 5' 3pt blower, the 20 will handle that blower full speed in reverse until I get into wet stuff over 12" deep, then just back off HST.
3. recently acquired 7' Meyers truck plow, will probably mount that to the floor of the bucket for this year, then when theres time make up frame like Diamond Pilot. I figure the loader mounted plow is the way to go because I have a lot of tight spots and need to stack frequently with loader if its not safe to blow.

Now about selling the old Allis', (my opinion) what are you nuts? they don't make them like taht anymore. I still use my 1961 Allis B-1( that my parents bought new), a Simplicity 1010 (that I'm restoring), a case 444 with 48 blower for tight spots and sidewalks, and a Zero turn for mowing. Contrary to my wife ,a man can never have TOO many tractors.

i'll help your choice. Don't think about the lawn tractor blower attachment for the long run. They DO work, and I used one in North Dakota for about 8 years.
Overall, Difficult to install. Needs chains on the tires and extra weights, and often those were not enough on sidewalks.
Worked well in the dry snow, and very well for getting the "frozen" drifts and the deep snow, but there were times I wish I had a walk behind too.
As long as you have a "real" tractor, keep the lawn tractor for the lawn.

I was cleaning up in the barn yesterday (OK for about 2 weeks really as it was such a mess) and guess what I found.....

I have a Crafstman snowblower that fits on a lawn tractor. It's practically new and I bought it years ago at an auction. I had forgotten all about it.

I'm going to investigate whether or not I can put a motor on it and mount it on the front of my ATV.

Ahhh, a project and one that is free to boot!
