Default Daewoo Skid Steers 1760XL

Hello all.

I am looking at buying a Daewoo skid steer. The machine is a 1760XL, has the 65HP Perkins in it and has less than 300 hours on it and it comes with a tooth bucket, pallet forks and a hay spear all for less than $10,000. I am looking to use this thing around the farm and do a little dirt moving around the house but nothing commercial. I know that the resale on there things are horrible, but like I said, I plan on holding onto this thing for a while anyway.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with these machines (particularly the 1760XL) as well as problem spots with these machines? Any input on the overall construction/build of the machines? Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Otis.

I don't know a thing about there skid steers, but there large forklifts seem to be built about as good as the others out there. Starting to see alot more Daewoo/Doosan lifts being used.

never used a daewoo but have used many other brands. I actually just got of a skidsteer 3 minutes ago. Have you ever drove a skidsteer? It does take some getting used to but eventually becomes second nature. I think you will enjoy having such a versitile tool around.
