To maintain the driveway, till the garden and mow the lawn I would spend $6,000 for my Yanmar 1401D. It handles these chores just fine. To dig the pond I would spend $500 to rent a large excavator for a day, and that would leave me $13,500 to spend toward my 30'x 40' barn.
