TC33D, B2910HSD

I am about to buy either the orange or the blue. They are both great. I will be purchasing a backhoe and loader at the same time. Which one will be more stable on hillsides and more maneuverable? Any other reasons to pick one or the other?

Ah yes, the TC33D vs the B2910 question. This question pops up often. Generally, a search of the NH, Kubota, & General areas should reveal many questions and answers on this comparison. I know this, because, I had same decision to make 6 weeks ago. I chose the TC33D. It was a heavier tractor, fit me better, and had a 7 gauge steel MMM. TC33D with MMM is about 800lbs heavier. I personally thought the $1000 extra that the NH cost was worth it. Many say the L3010 is a closer match to the TC33D, but not many people seem to compare these models. I didn't this comparison either, the L series seemed to be too big to me. I personally think the L3410 is a closer match due to it's increased weight. But then again the TC35D is a closer match to the L3410. It the apples & oranges thing. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

As far as stability, it's a question of wheelbase & tread width. Both should have a comparable center of gravity. As far as maneuvability, both should be about the same unless you opt for Supersteer on the NH.

Both are popular tractors with TBNers, and I don't think you would go wrong with either, just pick the one the fits you better and which dealer you feel better about.

I very recently purchased a tractor and had narrowed it down between the 2910 and the TC33 also. After all was considered I to went with the TC33 and have never regretted it. The 2910 seemed to small the 3010 to big and the TC33 seemed just right. The extra weight and slightly more HP and size has come in handy. The TC33 to me was the all around perfect "do everything" tractor. I could not see any advantage buying the 2910 over the 33 at the time. They were around the same $$. If it is a toss up to you, go with the better and nearest dealer. Over and over you hear people talk about how important the dealer is after the purchase. You don't realize just how important that decision should be in your final decision until after you bought it. I have not had one problem with the TC33 but when you need service, extra's and purchasing implements it becomes very important after the fact.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2410 WITH L302 FEL. JUST TOO WIMPY FOR MY CURRENT AND FUTURE NEEDS. SOOO NOW I AM MOVING UP. I REALLY COULD USE SOME INFO ON REASONABLE DEALERS AND PRICE(NEW ENGLAND). I LIKED THE HEAVY DUTY APPEARENCE OF THE TC33D. I WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED DEALER I VISITED TODAY REALLY HAD LITTLE TO SAY ABOUT HIS NH PRODUCT. MY NEEDS INCLUDE THE FEL AND FRONT END SNOWTHROWER. HEY ANYBODY LOOKING FOR A 2410 WITH WIFE INCLUDED?

I looked & drove the 2410, but after reading the Kubota sales brochure, I had to look at the 2910, since it said the frame is twice as thick. I went to the dealer and sure enough the frame was thicker. The same day I went to the NH dealer and checked out the frame of the TC33D, and it looked to be 50% thicker than the 2910. /w3tcompact/icons/love.gif

Can u double check the wheelbase and min. width of 35D & 35Dw/SS?
I think they are reversed.

I just purchased a NH TC33D with 7308 FEL and 60" HD bucket, filled R4 Tires (RIM GUARD), and a Kodiak box blade. I was able to get the A plan, in Sept there is a 1500.00 rebate going on(until the 30th), and also the dealer had a 300.00 rebate on the FEL. Out the door I paid 16,800.00. This also includes free 50 hour service. I chose not to get Supersteer. I contacted 4 other dealers in my area and the prices were all within 500.00. I chose the closest dealer and he has an excellent reputation. Now, I only have 1 hour of seat time, but it is a beauty and powerful.
