Price Check Fair price for MF 135 - 1965 or so

Looking for opinions on a fair price for a 1965 ish MF135 - it has a 3cyl Perkins diesel (recently "overhauled" not sure exactly what was done), power steering (two cylinders), trip bucket QuikTach loader, one set of extermal hydraulics. Hours are about 3800 on tractor and apparently just a few on the motor. Local farm mechanic (I trust) says it is in pretty good shape mechanically. Could use some paint. Tires are 60% or better. Owner considering selling because of health.

Around here that machine would go for $3500 to $4500 if it is in mechanically good condition. The loader, PS, and external hydraulics are plus's not often seen on 135's.

most if not all of the MF135 with power steering were made in the UK,the american version came without p.s. unless of course it was added later. up here(Quebec) it was a very popular model and i still see a lot of them for sale. that model was manufactured from roughly 1964 to 1974. the usual asking price around here for one with FEL,p.s.,and hydro outlets is between $5500. and $7500. canadian dollars.
