Friend of mine has one, a 1965. It has a 65 hp gasoline engine and the loader is on a separate pump. I think these came both gas and diesel, but I could be wrong. I'd say that's a pretty good deal including those attachments. What would concern me would be the lack of a loader and perhaps the difficulty in finding one later on.

I presently own a 1964 Dieselmatic 65. I just went thru the tractor and fixed everything for about $2000. I felt it was well worth the investment, not for resale but for the use I can get out of this tractor. It is a great running tractor and very powerful. I had thought about putting a loader on it, but after searching for months and talking to several dealers I decided it was'nt worth it. Used loaders were next to impossible to find and new was just to exspensive for the tractor. I now use the tractor as a back up and it usually has the brushog on it. If some buddy's come up to the farm and want to have some fun I put them on the Massey. For all the real work I use my new JD5210. I believe they are about the same pto hp but night and day difference in power. I dont think those older units can keep up with the new technology. Anyway from my experience most of the 65's I've come across run in the $2500-$3000 range without emplements. You can beat it for that kind of money.
