REally tough to tell with these machines as there are so many things that could go wrong. 5800 hours is quite a few hours. The motor looks to run well, tough to tell if it was running hot or what though. Don't know how it was to start, particularly when winter cold out. If they've been using ether I'd think twice. Also need to be sure the machine was good and warmed up, to be sure all hydraulic functions, particularly those in the tranny don't have any internal leaks. I know nothing about this machine. I purchased a dozer with hydraulic reverser, cold she operated fine, once hot, the hydraulic fluid thinned and the machine would not move forward as the hydraulic clutch pack would not engage due to leaking internal seals.

First impression, just from the video, looks like a nice tight machine for that number of hours.

I personally wouldn't be worried about that amount of smoke. I've seen worse. Machine sounds and looks good.
