    John Deere 4720

    Default John Deere 4720

I have a 2005 John Deere 4720 tractor. With 400x loader and 448 backhoe. Has around 220 hrs. Industrial tires, 4wd. Really good condition. I bought new for over $40k. Was wondering how much it's worth now. Trade and private sale. Was thinking about moving on to a skidsteer

You can get an idea of what others are asking for their used equipment. Realize that this may not be the final selling price.

I had a 2007 JD 3720 with cab, FEL ect and 300 hours. Excellent condition. Paid $32K. 2 dealers offered $17k and 3rd offered $22K for trade in on new JD 4520. Sold it myself for $25K in 2009. I would guess, you will take a 9-10K loss compared to new if sell it yourself.
