I am looking at a new MF263 with 4WD. I like the tractor because it is very compact yet powerful - 53 hp PTO. The dealer is pricing it around 23K. Does this seem like a fair price? Also any experience with the 263 or similiar. I want to put a FEL on it, bushog, rear blade and a post hole digger. Any comments or suggestions would be appreicated.

Sold a MF253 2WD (same as current 263). Bought it new in '96. I would not go back. Weak Hydraulics and clumsy transmission. There has been a lot of improvements in tractors the past few years that havn't shown up accross the board in the MF's. Ted

Who makes the smaller MF line? Do you know where the components come from?
Their big stuff is excellent and they seem to be advertising pretty heavily on the small stuff.
I am just curious.
Thanks.

Hey Buster,

Not sure how small you mean?

The CUTs come from Iseki.

The 200 series comes from differnt places. Some from Poland,UK,Brazil. The 400 series comes from Brazil.
