Looking into purchasing a backhe for landowner use only. Own 20 plus acres of woods for future home site. Have a lead on an old Ford 420 backhoe. Has 4200 hours, everything looks tight, tires good, runs good. New hydralic pump, seat and a couple of backhoe steel lines. Also a spare bucket. What would a fair price to pay for something like this? Is this a good tractor for my use such as clearing home site, digging stumps, filling around the acreage, etc.?
