more dealers and manufacturers should do this
well here is pretty neat idea that john deere dealerships are doing. i think they actually may have done this in the past. not sure though. but all summer they are setting up events that they call the drive green challenge wehre you can test out deere stuff along with competitors. i believe they also have so called "experts" there to help folks out. pretty neat idea but what equipment do you think all of these "experts" are gonna recommmend? i bet it has a little green in the color

there are lots of less biased places you can do this. You can run tractors and often different implements at many of the real farm shows (the real ones, not the ones that are PR shows for city folk). Example... PA's AG progress days. At many of these they even check and make sure that the MFG did not tweak their equipment to run out of spec for an added edge.
