Well I have had to give up my dreams of a new tractor. Don't want to put off building a house over a tractor purchase.

I have found a 2010 CT 335 with a bushhog and landscape rake with just over 50 hours for $15,200. Looks nice, don't know why he is selling it yet. I have not sat on a 335 but have been on a 235 and it was fine. I believe the HST pedals on the 335 are seperate which I like vs. the single HST pedal.

I have also found a 2000 JD 4300 HST with a 6' finish mower that has 965 hours on it for $12,900. It looks to be in good shape for 10 years old. I know it has the seperate HST pedals and brakes on the left side as most all JD's do. I have been on a few JD's and like them.

Which would you rather have. The lower priced JD that is 10 years old but still has alot of life or the slightly higher bobcat that is new with a warranty. Both have the loader control at the operators station that I like.
The Bobcat has 1 more PTO HP than the Deere.
The John Deere has more 3 pt capacity
Don't know how much the JD 430 loader will lift compared to the Bobcat.

Any thoughts?

The most important criterion for comparison, other than price, is size/
weight, IMO. The CT335 is 800 pounds more tractor.

The JD430 loader compares well with the Bobcat loader, and is the larger
of the 2 diff loaders offered with the 4300.

Well the bobcat got sold so I guess that makes the decision easier.
