    Default Woods 72 Turf Renovator

Can anyone give me a price check on a used Woods 2006 72'' Turf Renovator STR72-S2. Dealer has rented unit out says only a couple of times per year.

Will be used for seeding food plots, pasture seeding and smoothing fields.

    Any feedback from owners/users??

    Thanks Rob

Have you searched thru machinefinder, etc. for used/or similar equipment models?

I've looked at a number of Frontier and Landpride overseeders, turf rennovators and that "all-in-one" model for food plots: disk harrow, seeder, roller made by Frontier.

New is spendy! Looked at some new models for an auction "closeout". They were around $3K.

The Woods is a pretty simple design... if I had to guess - I might put it in the $1,000 to $1,500 ballpark. But, that's just a guess!

Local rental yard had a "Super Turf Renovator" which is what I believe you're looking at. I used it several times. The spikes on the front and rear rollers tend to bend if you hit ANY rocks, but other than that, it did a remarkably good job of seeding grass. Will NOT seed small seed or fluffy "native grass's" very well.

They held an auction last summer. It sold then for $1250. I went to $900.
