New Holland Boomer Sub Compact 1025
Hi. I am trading in a TOUGH Massey Ferguson GC2300 with a 54" belly mower.
I cannot get parts or service here in Lancaster, Oh. AGCO won't sell parts to me or the competing dealers in this area, and I do NOT want to drive 50 +/_ miles to the Massey dealers.
So ..... I am looking at New Holland 1025 Sub Compact. I need the small size, agility, and 25+ hp to power the 4' rotary mower through the brush and weeds that try to choke the several thousand trees on our tree farm. I also need the 54" (max) belly mower, clearance limits on width. I also run a 3 point post auger and log splitter. I need remote hydraulic connections that allow the 3 point hitch and logsplitter to work together, concurrently.
I have had my fill of turf tires. Heavy duty AG (bar) tires are needed!
I picked the Massey because it had a tight turn radius, diesel, and (low RPM per horse power.... less wear), and better gph., 3 point lift capacity, BRUTE!
I am open to other suggestions. I am limiting my search to local dealers ....
New Holland, John Deere, Kubota, and ....... ?Mahindra maybe?? Should I even consider Cub Cadet?
