Hello,

More pricing or use advice please. I found a JD 2520 4WD, 200CX FEL, 180 hours, 2007 for $14,500. This seems like a reasonable tractor for us. Our place is 23 acres, most which is a field with some trees and brush.

According to tractorhouse.com, this looks like a reasonable deal. The seller has implements like a brush hog, a box blade, forks and some counterweights too for this tractor, but wants extra for these.

If I could get the entire package for $14,500 would that be reasonable, or should I shoot lower?

Thanks.

I guess I would say an offer of 14,500 for the tractor and implements would be a good starting point for you, the buyer. However, I would expect to pay closer to 16,000 with implements. 1,500 for the implements and 14,500 for the tractor.

What is he asking for the implements.??

MSRP on a new 2520 with loader is around $19K, assume you can get at least 10% off that. That puts you at $17K with 48 month interest free financing. Personally I would go new.

Price is in the right ball park, from what I've seen.
