Price Check John Deere LX277 18HP Kawasaki

I am looking at buying a used John deere LX277 18HP Kawasaki with 200 hours on it. According to the pictures the tractor looks to be in great shape, no rust or fading. He is asking 1850.00 and will deliver it to my house. Is this a reasonable price? Or should I offer something lower?

They were manufactured from 1999-2004. If it has a 48" cut mower deck and is a 2004, the $1,850 is top Value. I think $1600-$1700 is more like it.

Thanks Compactman, for the info, I offered him 1500.00 which included the bagging system, and he accepted.

I have an LX277 and that Twin Kawasaki engine is nice! Talk about easy starting and smooth idling. You can idle it down to where you almost can't hear it. I pull a garden cart, a fertilizer spreader and a lawn sweeper behind mine. Good luck with yours...
