The Tank: 2011 27 HP Kohler Command 60" $5400 (Available now)

The Dixie Chopper: 2012 24 HP Kawasaki 60" $5500 (not available till April 2012)

Which would you rather?

Not famliar with the tank. I have a scag tiger cub that I'm happy with. Friend has a dixie chopper he really likes. Also like ferris. Easy deck access is a big plus for mid mount zero turns. Flip up deck is a big plus. Think grasshopper has those and id look at them if i were in the market. Nice thing is for personal use they shouod last a lifetime. Mine is 8 years old and looks new.

I have an 8 year old M60 Tank (Kawasaki). No problems whatsoever. I bought it because it's festooned with grease fittings. It does eat blades (a set a year) but that's because I mow over sandy ground.

Worth every penney I paid. Highly recommended.

Changed the IZT filters 2 rimes, the engine oil and filter every fall. If you get the Kawasaki, the Generac Standby Generator filter fits the Kawasaki. 2 times as big as the OEM filter (and more oil capacity) and cheaper.

One of my favorites is the Tank with the steering wheel!!!!!
