Buying Advice Mahindra or Kubota?

Guess I'm still in the 50's with my old 8N Ford...what is FEL We are also looking for a different tractor More power than the old ford, 4 wheel drive, big enough to really use the bucket for brush pushing etc..Could use any and all suggestions to help with the choice

Fel is front end loader. I'm not far ahead of you with a 65 Ford 3000. Thanks to everyone for their comments, I appreciate your time!

Is there a reason you are limiting yourself to just two makes??

What about CNH, kioti, deere, et al??

The kioti DK50 seems to get high marks on here and is probabally a good bit less $$$ if you have the dealer

After looking at both I went with the Kubota. I felt it was better overall for my uses and the resale is excellent. BUT make sure you have decent dealer support for whatever brand you buy.

Well, I own a Kubota, so I think you should buy that.

But seriously, I compared both a bit before buying. The Mahindra dealer in my area isn't very big, though, so I didn't seriously look at it. But just doing a walk around of the Mahindras, they didn't seem quite as refined. They do seem like heavy tractors though.

I was similar to you though, coming from an older tractor with no FEL. I had an old Massey Harris that I accomplished a lot with. But, it's amazing what you can get done with an FEL.
