Buying Advice Kubota L3800 vs Mahindra 3616

But I do have a serious question that maybe you can answer as I cant find the spec anywhere. Specifically, I would like to know the following about the 3616 loader:
1. Lift cylinder bore diameter
2. Lift cylinder stroke length
3. Operating pressure for the system

Lift Cylinder stroke length is 17.80", Extended length is 43.7" and retracted length is 25.9"
Operating pressure is just over 2,000 psi. It is rated at 2,050 to be exact
The tractor system rated flow is 7.7 gpm

Be sure you know what your getting. The 3616 and DK35 are very similar in size and HP. The DK40 is a frame up from either and MUCH more powerful than both. For that much more than a 3616 I'd be tempted to go for the DK40, if it still fits where you want it. The DK35 would be my second choice, nothing against the Mahindra as it is still a very fine tractor.

Some people who know more about each brand will be able to tell you more about how you are on price.

That DK is a beast..You will love that 2700 lbs of brute force of lift..

Thanks. I was just wondering how they got the 1600# lift and weather it was just marketing hype or if it actually had larger cylinders.

The L3800 (just incase anyone was wondering) has 1.77" bore cylinders and 2350psi.

A DK45 will be even more powerful, and more money.

I agree with LD1 though. Price out the 'Bota before going any further to get all options on the table. It would be a L3540 in comparison to the DK35, an L4240 in comparison to the DK40 and an L4740 in comparison to the DK45 if I recall correctly. (This is without going to the Kubota site as someone who is not highly educated on them, let's see how I did )

Spec wise Yes. Price wise no. Kioti is a lot more bang for buck
