Tractor Sizing will Ford 451 sickle fit a Kubota L3450?

I've got a lot of creek bank to mow and can't safely get to it with a 4-foot Haban sickle or rotary cutter. Am thinking of getting something like a Ford 451 seven-foot sickle bar, but don't know if it's a good fit for my 2011 Kubota L3450 tractor. Anyone tried to match those two?

I assume by Ford you mean a New Holland 451 (they did have a Ford badge on them for a few years), if so then yes it should work well. However, you will need to get the 'compact tractor adapter kit' from New Holland or fab up something similar yourself. The reason for this kit is that the 3pt hitch arms are too close together on compact tractors which makes the bow frame on the mower hit it. The kit simply extends the frame out for clearance. I have a 451 that I use on my little B3200 and it works well (I made my own adapter)

I assume your tractor is a Kubota L3540 if it is a 2011. I have a Kubota L3430 and a New Holland 451 Mower. The mower does not fit for the reasons stated above.
