2012 NH Boomer 30 HST or Kioti CK30 HST? Value?

There you have it. Boomer 35, just not worth it to me.

According to tractordata.com the boomer 30 has a 1.5L engine and the boomer 35 has a 1.8L engine. The boomer 30 is 22 pto and the boomer 35 is 30 pto.

All the new NH (LS based) compact tractors' engines are natural-aspirated. The Boomer 30 is using a Mitsubishi S4L engine while the Boomer is using a Mitsubishi S4L2 engine. The S4L2 has greater displacement than the S4L. The NH specs are screwed up on their website as the website states that the Boomer 35 is ~28" longer than the Boomer 30, yet the the NH paper brochure states they are the same length at 119". The same goes for the weight were the website states they are both 2913lbs, yet the paper brochure states the Boomer 30 is 3121lbs and the Boomer 35 is 3200lbs. I wish NH's marketing group would get their tractor specs consistent.

In addition, The Boomer 30 and 35 states the 3PH lift capacity is 1807lbs at the ball ends, so that means it has a lift capacity of about 1535lbs at 24" aft of the hitch (the NH Boomer 2035 3PH lift capacity was ~1925lbs at the ball ends and 1635lbs 24" out). There is about 15% to 20% difference between the ball ends and 24" aft lift capacities on a 3PH for this size tractor. It does not surprise me that the NH Boomer 35 is $2,750.00 more. It seems that anytime you move up a model size, NH will charge about $2,000.00 to $2,500.00 more, however, that dealer seems to be a little high with that price. JD and many other manufactures do the same thing, I guess except for Kioti.
