I live in a hilly part of England (old not new), and have a fair amount of grass on 20 degree slopes, fair amount of trees and hedges too. My bx24 is too blunt an instrument and not manoeuvrable enough. After doing some research I was recommended husqvarna 320 (sold as jonsered fr2216 here), second option cub cadet all rounder 50.
The first is 4wd and out front deck but narrower wheelbase. Second is wide wheelbase zero turn but 2wd. So I suspect the 4wd will be better at climbing and not sliding, and good for under trees, hedges etc. whereas the cub cadet will be less tippy turning on a slope.
Anyone have experience with either of these on steep slopes, and able to recommend between the two? Budget is around £5k.
Aside from these two, any other recommendations? There have been some threads on this in the past but not for some time.
Thanks all
