Price Check 54" Drive On Auto Connect mower for a JD 1026R

Can someone me give a price on the above noted mower deck?

Dealers are mixing things so one doesn't know what the actual price of the deck is and I wish to wait a bit before buying and not get beat.

Mine is a year old, but $1650 for 54D mechanical lift. Add $250 for auto PTO carrier. This was pretty consistent pricing in SE MI. Also there was $250 rebate per implement over the first one.

ask a lot of questions.

a little birdie told me deere put out a "confidential" memo on problems with the system. Apparently they've had a few breaking the transmission housing if not coupling properly.

If you are wanting one, buy one now. Todays price may be the same next spring but I think it has a better chance of being higher
