1965 Massey Ferguson 135
I've not heard a lot about MF 185's very much. Are they good tractors? What are their strength and weaknesses? Thanks.

Am I wrong in assuming that there are not many MF185's out there? There seems to be little information about them anywhere on the net.

They are good tractors. Just like the 135, 165 they are indestructible. I don't think they produced as many of them as they did the 135 and 65's because of the size of farms back in there day.

My grandpa used to have a 175, I liked it.
I would say the biggest drawback was it took a lot of effort to depress the clutch.

Even the Massey 255 are hard to depress the clutch. Most tractors of that time were like that.

Its an older style row crop tractor, heavy, horse power in the mid 60s. some had the multipower transmissions. I liked the tractor.
A low houred one owner might be a diamond.
