generatore to waterwell electric conection

My pump has the capacitor box mounted in the basement and lines out to the well for the submersible. If yours is similar and you try and wire a plug into the line without your capacitors you're in for a world of hurt.

you cant just wire it directly to the well motor. there has to be a pump control box and a pressure switch controlled to the system. this is what controls the pump and tells it when to turn on and off.

find an electrician before you ruin a well pump.

i planed on running it before the pressure switch, so i would be braking the wire between the electric box and the press switch.but i mite not do it this way i read that some gen wont work with the neutral not connected.

Just add a load for the neutral. Like an outlet and plug a night light into it. You can get LED night lights that use very little power. I get one that's always ON, if it could make a difference for the generator to have a neutral.
