My pump has the capacitor box mounted in the basement and lines out to the well for the submersible. If yours is similar and you try and wire a plug into the line without your capacitors you're in for a world of hurt.

you cant just wire it directly to the well motor. there has to be a pump control box and a pressure switch controlled to the system. this is what controls the pump and tells it when to turn on and off.
find an electrician before you ruin a well pump.
i planed on running it before the pressure switch, so i would be braking the wire between the electric box and the press switch.but i mite not do it this way i read that some gen wont work with the neutral not connected.
