1st tractor, Cub Cadet 7275
After looking at new and used subcompacts and compacts for months, I finally purchased my first tractor. It's a 1997 Cub Cadet 7275 with a Cub 417 loader, one year old 3 pt Blizzard snow blower, 72" MMM, and a York Rake. It has 770 hours and seems to be in good shape, admittedly I don't know much about these machines. Any thoughts or comments about this tractor (things to watch out for, etc.) would be appreciated. I'm sure I will have many questions in the future. I will be using the tractor to harvest cord wood on my property, for snow removal, and maintnence on my gravel driveway.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hello and welcome to the tractor world.
I can't tell you much about your tractor. Are those the models made by mitsubishi?

Welcome to the forum.
I believe those tractors were built by Mahindra.Roger

Re: 1st tractor, Cub Cadet 7275
Congrats on your first tractor! I scored my own first earlier this year, a Cub 7305. I think we basically have the same tractor, mine was just a slightly newer version.
Your cab makes the tractor look... special.
Your tractor was built by Mitsubishi, but also probably marketed by Mahindra as a nearly-identical model. I have found that my 7305 matches up with the Mahindra 3015.
Here is someone else's info I scrounged off a quick internet search:
"The Cub Cadet 7000 series was an older Mitsubushi design that went thru several model changes. When Cadet and Mitsubushi parted ways, Mitsubushi sold the design to Mahindra. A 7275 was 27HP and "5" indicated a hydro. A 7300 was slightly newer with 30 HP and "0" indicated gear drive. There was also a 7200/7205 and 7260/7265. The 7300/7305 model had boosted the HP over the 7270/7275 with the same cubic inches and had a new/stronger loader. Woods built the loaders for Cadets."
These seem to be very robust and reliable tractors. Use it within it's limits, and you should get many more years run-hours of trouble-free service! My only tip - DON'T buy your filters from a cub-cadet dealer. They will rake you over the coals, HARD. I buy mine from wix for less than half the price, and they seem perfectly adequate (though opinions vary about this).
Enjoy!

It is also similiar to a Case IH 1130.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Deezler, how do you find comparable filters on the wix website? I entered cub cadet parts numbers and there are no results.
Thanks
