Kubota L4150 a good deal?

Hey guys, I found a L4150 4x4 for sale. The tractor has no implements or loader although the mounts for a loader is there. It says it has 915 hours. The tractor is not running. The owner says it overheated and has a broken ring. The head is off of the motor. Its in decent shape for an old tractor. Tires are not great but decent. He wants $2800.00 for it. Do yo guys think that its a good deal? Are engine rebuild kits available and how much would I expect to pay for a rebuild kit?

I would figure on a new engine because many times there is unrepairable damage to the block. Check to see if there is a motor available and factor in the cost to repair. A long block for that tractor is likely $4000.

its good that someone can talk some sense into me. My imagination can run wild with my projets..lol...I dont think I want to put $4000.00 into it.

I have never seen a Kubota block damaged but I would bet on $2500+ in parts plus machine work. $4000-5000 total wouldn't surprise me.
