Hi

Looking for a cat 1 hitch tractor for hobby farming , tillage. I already have a kubota b2710 but would not mind having another tractor, esp for my 2-14 ao plow. The kubota does seem to strain when using it, and the outer plow usually cannot take a full bite, or misses altogether. I did not want to spend a lot on the tractor or spend time rebuilding it either. Always liked the look of Fords growing up, and was looking for input form more experienced members on this one.

I did go to see it and would take a friend with me who is more experienced if it seems reasonable.
Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks!

It looks like the old four speed transmission. Would confirm it has live PTO. I thought everything 65 forward got the 8 speed??

all that tractor is a glory find 8n/600 ford except they or harder to start and warm up than a 8n/600 because the intake and exhaust is on different sides. before i bought that tractor i would either looking for a 2000 with a 8speed trans or a good 850/851

Looked at a 851 yesterday, the dealer wanted 4500 and 3500 for a 9n. Rims looked pretty worn on the 851.

Prices in my part of PA seem to be higher than some other parts of the country
